- Often to obtain a good effect or for own personal reasons it is decided to change the background:
Notice that in the new photo the person standing in the house is now gone, as well as the house in the background. We are able to remove people, or add them to any photograph.
In this example we have taken the subject from a meaningless background and put him into a new environment that is more appealing.
Here we have taken a little boy playing with his truck in back of a house and transported him to the beach where he is probably much happier.
In this example we have done something a little more difficult but have taken a favorite ancestor from the only photo that existed of her and made a wonderful portrait.
Many hidden aspects of the photograph can be discovered when it is adjusted, perhaps revealing information of where it was taken, helping to identify a known place. This can be a great help in genealogy.
- Adding color to black and white photos, adding tints and sepia tones, correcting damaged and faded color images.:
First we do a normal restoration on the photograph, crop and resize it, so we may progress to the next example of adding color.
We proceed with basic restoration, then adding a light tint and if you choose full coloration. We can work with you to match known colors or if they are unknown [as they were with this photo]. Why not add them in? Here we see the results of two different coloration techniques. One a sepia tone, the other an RGB coloration.

Let's take a photograph of a past family gathering and enrich it with color. Happy memories of family ancestors.

Adding color portrays essence and preserves the sweetness of this little girl.
